Shanghai Pharma debuts on Hong Kong exchange

Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding Co. Ltd. (Shanghai:601607; HKSE:2607) was unchanged at HK$23 in its first day of trading Friday on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange after raising HK$15.3 billion ($2 billion) in a new listing. The pharma priced its offering of 664.2 million shares at HK$23 earlier in the week. Goldman Sachs; Deutsche Bank; and CreditSuisse were joint global coordinators, lead managers and bookrunners. CICC was also a bookrunner. Shanghai Pharmaceuticals was up RMB16 to RMB19.36 on the Shanghai Stock Exchange Friday. ...
