Lawmakers request Colcrys pricing information

Sen. Herb Kohl (D-Wis.) and three representatives sent a letter to URL Pharma Inc. (Philadelphia, Pa.) asking for information about the price of gout drug Colcrys colchicine. The letter set a deadline of June 10 for the requested information, which included the total cost of trials leading to the approval of Colcrys and the total cost to manufacture the drug. ...
