Derma raises $29 million

Derma Sciences Inc. (NASDAQ:DSCI) raised about $29 million through the sale of about 3.5 million shares in a private placement to institutional investors. The company did not disclose the price at which it sold the shares. Investors also received five-year warrants to purchase up to 1.8 million shares at $9.90.
