Shionogi acquires Victory Pharma products

Shionogi & Co. Ltd. (Tokyo:4507; Osaka:4507) will acquire all marketed drugs from Victory Pharma Inc. (San Diego, Calif.) for $118 million in cash, plus up to $9 million in milestones. The deal covers seven pain treatments and two for infectious diseases, including NSAID Naprelan naproxen and anti-infectives Moxatag Amoxicillin Pulsys and Keflex cephalexin. The deal is expected to close as early as July 26. Victory could not be reached for comment on plans for the company. ...
