WuXi reports preliminary results, raises guidance

WuXi PharmaTech Inc. (NYSE:WX) reported preliminary second quarter financial results and expects GAAP diluted earnings per ADS of $0.18-$0.19, down from $0.20 in 2Q09. The Street is expecting GAAP earnings per ADS of $0.18. Preliminary revenues for the quarter are $81 million, up 21% from $67 million in 2Q09 and above the Street's estimate of $76.6 million. WuXi also raised its full-year revenue guidance to $320-$325 million from $310-$320 million. The Street is expecting $320.3 million. ...
