NPS raises $99 million

NPS Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:NPSP) raised $99 million through the sale of 11 million shares at $9 per share in a bumped-up follow-on. NPS proposed to sell 9 million shares late Monday, when its stock price was $9.50. The underwriters were Citi; Leerink; Canaccord; Needham; Brean Murray; Summer Street; and ThinkEquity. NPS was up $0.14 to $9.10 on Thursday. ...
