TiGenix raises EUR 15.2 million

TiGenix N.V. (Euronext:TIG) raised EUR 15.2 million ($21.7 million) though the sale of 15.2 million shares at EUR 1 in a rights issue underwritten by Kempen and KBC Securities. Existing shareholders, who were eligible to purchase one share for every five held, subscribed to 7.7 million shares, while the remaining shares were placed with institutional investors.
