NICE not ready to put patient preference into reimbursement decisions

NICE might use patient preference data to break a tie but won’t incorporate it in the standard economic models

After looking at the evidence, NICE has decided it’s still not prepared to put patient preference data into its economic models for reimbursement decisions. It’s leaving the door open to using the information in other ways, which stakeholders see as at least a step in the right direction.
