At Trump’s demand, IPI proposal changed to get ‘best deal’ on Part B drugs

The Trump administration’s international pricing index proposal has been modified to ensure that Medicare Part B drug prices are the lowest among developed nations, HHS Secretary Alex Azar said Wednesday.
Azar made it clear that the White House has not decided if it will move forward with the proposal -- but if it does, the price threshold will be substantially lower than the level HHS has suggested in previous public descriptions of the IPI. ...
