Germany to invest in CARB-X
Germany’s Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) plans to contribute €39 million ($44.3 million) to the Combating Antibiotic Resistant Bacteria Biopharmaceutical Accelerator (CARB-X) over the next four years.
BMBF will also provide €1 million ($1.1 million) directly to a consortium led by the German Center for Infection Research (DZIF), who joined CARB-X last month along with five other organizations (see "CARB-X Adds New Members to Increase Number of Funded Antimicrobial Research Projects")...
