3-D-printed scaffold for spinal injuries

3-D-printed scaffold underwrites UCSD's spinal cord injury therapy

UCSD scientists have developed a spinal cord injury therapy that uses a 3-D printed scaffold to matchthe contours of individual injuries. An interdisciplinary team combined the scaffold with neural stem cells and is planning to launch a company to develop the technology.
