CRISPR, Viking, Fate, Molecular Templates price follow-ons

CRISPR Therapeutics AG (NASDAQ:CRSP), Viking Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:VKTX), Fate Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:FATE) and Molecular Templates Inc. (NASDAQ:MTEM) each priced follow-ons late on Sept. 20, raising a total of $545.9 million.

CRISPR raised $200 million through the sale of 4.2 million shares at $47.50 in a follow-on underwritten by Goldman Sachs, Piper Jaffray, Barclays, Wells Fargo, Guggenheim and Needham. The price was an 8% discount to the company's close of $51.89 on Sept. 19, when it proposed the offering after market hours. CRISPR slipped 6% on Sept. 20, and was off $4.50 to $44.49 Sept. 21...
