Nosopharm team identifies new class of antibiotics

Researchers at Nosopharm S.A.S. (Nimes, France) and academic colleagues identified a previously unknown class of naturally produced antibiotics that binds to a new site within the bacterial ribosome's decoding center and induces miscoding, killing the bacteria.
