BMS, GRYT partner in digital patient experience pilot

GRYT Health (Rochester, N.Y.) and Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. (NYSE:BMY) partnered to conduct a pilot program to integrate de-identified patient experience data from GRYT's Stupid Cancer app with BMS's clinical data to inform the pharma's clinical trial design and improve R&D and disease management protocols.

The app is a social support and health management tool that anonymously connects patients to provide peer support and targeted cancer information. GRYT co-founder and CEO Dave Fuehrer told BioCentury that BMS can conduct digital focus groups through the app and invite patients to complete surveys about their experiences.
