Generation Bio raises $100M series B

Gene therapy play Generation Bio Co. (Cambridge, Mass.) raised $100 million in a series B round led by Fidelity, with participation from Invus, Deerfield Management, Casdin Capital, Foresite Capital and affiliates of Leerink Partners.

The round comes less than two months after Generation Bio emerged from stealth mode with a $25 million series A round from Atlas Venture (see BioCentury Extra, Jan. 4)...
