ADRB2 agonists could treat PD

In a paper published in Science, researchers showed that adrenergic receptor beta 2 (ADRB2) agonists reduce alpha synuclein (SNCA) gene levels. The study suggests that ADRB2 agonists, which are approved to treat asthma, could be repurposed to treat Parkinson's disease.
