How targeting the IRF3 pathway could prevent GBM recurrence

A team from the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) has identified a network of extracellular matrix proteins that drives glioblastoma invasiveness and a master switch -- interferon regulatory factor 3 (IRF3) -- that can turn it off.
