Merck CEO quits Trump manufacturing council

Merck & Co. Inc. (NYSE:MRK) Chairman and CEO Kenneth Frazier resigned from President Donald Trump’s American Manufacturing Council in an apparent response to the president’s failure to directly condemn the actions of white supremacists who marched in Charlottesville, Va. last weekend.
