Icahn hires Mulligan as portfolio manager

Icahn Enterprises, the firm operated by activist investor Carl Icahn, named Richard Mulligan portfolio manager of its Icahn Capital subsidiary. Mulligan is professor emeritus of genetics at Harvard Medical School (Boston, Mass.).

Mulligan has represented Icahn on multiple biotech boards, including Biogen Inc. (NASDAQ:BIIB). He was a founding partner of Sarissa Capital Management, and remains a Biogen director and chair of its science and technology committee (see BioCentury, Aug. 29, 2011)...
