Ipafricept: Interim Ph Ib data

Interim data from 18 evaluable patients in an open-label, dose-escalation, U.S. Phase Ib trial showed that IV ipafricept on days 1 and 15 of each 28-day cycle plus Abraxane nab-paclitaxel and gemcitabine led to an ORR of 39%, including 7 partial responses, plus 8 cases of stable disease. The combination was well tolerated with fatigue, nausea and reduced appetite reported as the most common toxicities. Progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) data are not yet mature and the MTD has not yet been reached.
