Biogen Idec Chairman Young to retire

Biogen Idec Inc. (NASDAQ:BIIB) said Chairman William Young will retire from the board at the company's 2014 annual meeting. A date for the meeting has not been announced, but a Biogen Idec spokesperson said it is typically held in June. Young has been a director since 1997 and was appointed chairman in 2010.
