Biden slams cancer drug price increases

Amid calls Wednesday for collaboration and engagement, Vice President Joe Biden threw barbs at the pharmaceutical industry and government-funded researchers.

Opening a summit meeting of the Cancer Moonshot Initiative, Biden said treatments "need to be affordable," but the "costs of life-saving drugs are astronomical."
