Amgen licenses Unilife wearable injectors

Drug delivery play Unilife Corp. (NASDAQ:UNIS; AXS:UNS) granted Amgen Inc. (NASDAQ:AMGN) exclusive rights to its wearable injectors for use with certain undisclosed Amgen assets. The deal also includes non-exclusive rights to Unilife delivery systems in oncology, inflammation, bone health, nephrology, cardiovascular and neuroscience.

Unilife received a $20 million licensing fee and $30 million from Amgen's purchase of a senior convertible note. Amgen may purchase up to $25 million in additional notes. ...
