Stakeholders launch pan-Europe vaccine monitoring project

EMA, the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) and other stakeholders including industry policymakers and academics launched the five-year ADVANCE project to develop a pan-European framework to monitor the benefits and risks of vaccines through their lifecycle. The framework will focus on generating quantitative data to more quickly monitor, assess and communicate the benefits and risks of a vaccine.
