Sosei Group Corp. (Tokyo:4565) named Peter Bains COO, effective April 1, and said he is expected to become president and CEO pending approval in June from Sosei's board. He is to succeed CEO Shinichi Tamura, who founded Sosei in 1990. Bains is a non-executive director at Sosei and CEO of the Syngene International Ltd. subsidiary of Biocon Ltd. (NSE:BIOCON; BSE:BIOCON).
Infectious disease company ContraFect Corp. (NASDAQ:CFRX) said CEO Julia Gregory will retire. Chairman Steven Gilman will be interim CEO while the company searches for a replacement. ...
