GenMark Diagnostics IPO prices at bottom of range; breaks issue on first day

GenMark Diagnostics Inc. priced at the bottom of its range and broke issue, scarcely inspiring confidence in any incipient IPO window.
The diagnostics company had set an $8-$10 range and expected to sell 4.5 million shares. It dropped the range to $6-$8 on Friday and then priced at $6, selling 4.6 million shares...
