Marc Grasso joined UBS's healthcare banking group as managing director. He was managing director and head of West Coast investment banking at Leerink Swann.

William Young joined Clarus Ventures as a venture partner. He was CEO at diagnostic company Monogram Biosciences Inc., which was acquired by Laboratory Corp. of America Holdings (NYSE:LH) in 2009 for $107 million. Young is chairman of Biogen Idec Inc.
