Men with benign prostatic hyperplasia are typically put on two drugs: Flomax to provide symptomatic relief and Proscar to shrink the prostate. A better drug would both improve symptoms and treat the underlying disease. Threshold Pharmaceuticals Inc. reported Phase II data last week indicating that its TH-070 might do just that.
