EPA to press ahead with long-awaited regulations

WASHINGTON - During the first half of 1994, the Environmental Protection Agency hopes to publish long-awaited regulations covering genetically engineered microorganisms, including experimental use of microbial pesticides and transgenic plants that produce pesticidal substances.
