Epigenetics of biocomplexity

There are some areas of basic science where companies are more willing to share information than others. Examples include genes, SNPs and, now, epigenomics, which is the study of gene expression patterns as determined by changes in genome function.

The European Commission's Sixth Framework Program recently created the Epigenome Network as one of its European Networks of Excellence (NoE). The goal of the Epigenome Network will be to study the epigenetics of biocomplexity.
