Two alliances help LDC bring therapeutic small molecules to proof of concept

In the last month, the Lead Discovery Center GmbH (LDC) has announced two new programs with other German organizations to translate small molecule projects in infection, inflammation and cancer to candidates for clinical development.
On March 31, LDC partnered with the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research (HZI) to develop a new therapeutic for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infection. A few weeks earlier, LDC received two grants from the Max Planck Foundation for separate drug discovery programs in cancer and inflammatory diseases. ...
