4SC jumps on resminostat data in HCC

4SC AG (Xetra:VSC) jumped EUR 0.57 (39%) to EUR 2.05 on Thursday after resminostat alone and in combination with Nexavar sorafenib met the primary endpoint of at least a 20% progression-free survival rate in the Phase II SHELTER trial to treat patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) refractory to Nexavar. In 24 evaluable patients, the treatments led to PFS rates of 33.3% and 66.6%, respectively, at week 12. Median PFS was 1.4 and 4.6 months for each treatment arm, respectively.
