Provista Diagnostics raises $5M in A round

Provista Diagnostics Inc. (Phoenix, Ariz.) raised $5 million in a series A round from a group of 18 institutional and individual investors, including the Louis-Dreyfus Family Office; Groton Partners; and MacOne. Provista is developing BT Test, a genetic test that detects the present of blood-based biomarkers that are associated with early breast cancer development, for use in conjunction with mammography.
