Fabrus, Senesco deal

Senesco completed its acquisition of Fabrus in a stock deal. Fabrus shareholders received 6.9 million Senesco shares, which are valued at about $17.4 million based on Senesco's close of $2.52 on May 15, the last trading day before the deal closed. Fabrus shareholders also received 160,202 options and warrants to purchase up to 3.6 million shares. If all the warrants are exercised, Senesco would raise $12.5 million. The warrants are exercisable at $2-$4, with expiration dates ranging from June 16, 2014, to Dec. 16, 2016. The companies could not be reached for details (see BioCentury, Jan. 6). ...
