MagForce, University of Bremen deal

MagForce and the university's Center for Environmental Research and Sustainable Technology partnered to develop magnetic iron oxide particles with improved efficiency to treat abdominal cancers, including prostate and pancreatic cancer. MagForce said the two-year partnership, which will receive funding from the German government-funded Mittelstand Innovation Program (ZIM), will allow it "to develop the next generation of NanoTherm." The company said partnership projects include a more efficient magnetic fluid and a pilot manufacturing facility.
