Pharmas provide $23.1M for early stage research

A group of six pharmas will provide L14.4 million ($23.1 million) to fund a research consortium at the University of Dundee for an additional four years. The Division of Signal Transduction Therapy (DSTT) consortium, which was founded in 1998, is studying cell signaling and developing inhibitors of kinases and phosphatases to treat diseases such as cancer, arthritis and lupus. The pharmas share access to unpublished results, technology, know-how and reagents in the laboratories participating in the consortium, and also have first rights to license IP. ...
