Human Genome Sciences, GlaxoSmithKline deal

GlaxoSmithKline refused to participate in Human Genome Science strategic review process and instead began its tender offer to acquire the biotech at the same $13 price initially rejected by Human Genome management last month. Human Genome said that its board will review the tender offer and make a recommendation within 10 business days of May 10, when GSK began the offer.
