In a mouse xenograft model of MM, twice-weekly 0.375 mg/kg IV SNS01-T alone and in combination with 15 and 50 mg/kg lenalidomide given 5 times a week for 6 weeks inhibited tumor growth by 96%, 94% and 99%, respectively, at end of week 6 vs. control nanoparticles (p=0.0001; p=0.0002; and p=0.00003, respectively). Additionally, low- and high-dose lenalidomide alone for 6 weeks inhibited tumor growth by 51% and 78% vs. control (p=0.03 and p=0.0008, respectively). Furthermore, SNS01-T plus high-dose lenalidomide completely eliminated tumor burden in 83% of mice vs. 40% for SNS01-T alone or SNS01-T plus low-dose lenalidomide. Mice treated with SNS01-T alone or SNS01-T plus lenalidomide had 100% survival at day 11 post-treatment. Median survival in mice treated with low-dose lenalidomide alone and control nanoparticles were 48 and 53 days, respectively. ...
