GSK, Theravance announce submissions for Relvar/Breo

GlaxoSmithKline plc (LSE:GSK; NYSE:GSK) and Theravance Inc. (NASDAQ:THRX) announced U.S. and EU regulatory submissions for pulmonary product fluticasone furoate/vilanterol (formerly Relovair). In the EU, the partners are seeking approval under the name Relvar to treat asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
