Affymetrix, PathGEN in diagnostic deal

PathGEN Dx Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) and Affymetrix Inc. (NASDAQ:AFFX) partnered to develop a pathogen diagnostic using Affymetrix's GeneChip microarray technology. PathGEN will develop the in vitro diagnostic kit, which will comprise PathGEN's reagents, an automated software package and a microarray from Affymetrix.
