NeuroSearch, Bristol-Myers Squibb deal

The companies will develop an oral compound to treat Parkinson’s disease using NeuroSearch’s NS2214, a modulator of the dopamine transporter protein, also known as dopamine reuptake inhibitor. Bristol-Myers will make upfront and milestone payments of up to $29 million in return for exclusive worldwide rights to the product, excluding Scandinavia, the Baltics and Japan.
