INSV announced the issuance of U.S. Patent No. 5,474,985 covering uses of topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) in the eye. The invention has potential applications in the prevention and treatment of steroid-induced intraocular pressure rise, and to prevent progression of glaucoma.
