Fuisz, McNeil Consumer Products Co. deal

The companies will use FUSE's Shearform Matrix Technology to develop rapidly dissolving and chewable tablet formulations that combine acetaminophen and certain cough and cold ingredients. FUSE will receive $2 million in development and license payments over the initial one-year term, and will receive additional payments for each month the agreement is extended.

McNeil receives exclusive rights to manufacture and market any acetaminophen combination products using the Shearform Matrix technology in North America, as well as exclusive manufacturing and marketing rights, except to FUSE and one other party, for the rest of the world.
