Researchers reported in Nature that they were able to block a factor Xa receptor on lymphocytes, called effector cell protease receptor-1 (EPR-1), with the 2E1 monoclonal antibody or an antisense oligonucleotide. Such blocking in SCID mice inhibited CD3/T cell receptor-dependent lymphocyte proliferation, which is required to produce an immune response. ...
