DIAGF and the Toronto Hospital will collaborate to develop a rapid diagnostic for septic shock. The parties will develop a test using enhanced chemical luminescence with a monoclonal antibody specific to a sepsis endotoxin. DIAGF's test will take fifteen minutes to determine whether the patient has gram negative or gram positive sepsis. DIAGF said the current cell culture test takes 12 hours to 3 days. ...
