Research published in Nature Medicine shows that the anti-fungal agent clotrimazole can block proliferation of both cancerous and normal cells.
In SCID mice, the drug reduced lung metastasis of human melanoma. Ten weeks after inoculation with the cancer, untreated mice had 40 metastases on average, but mice given clotrimazole daily averaged fewer than eight metastases. ...
