Signal Pharmaceuticals deal

Signal entered into two agreements with the University of Pittsburgh and the University of California, San Diego, to study the regulation, biochemistry and mechanism of transcription factors.

Using the San Diego company's neuronal cell line, the University of Pittsburgh will develop a model system for testing transcription factor modulators to control herpes and other infectious agents.
