Seven companies join PhRMA

The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America announced the addition of seven new member companies on Tuesday. The companies are: Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:ALXN); Cubist Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:CBST); Ferring Pharmaceuticals A/S (Saint-Prex, Switzerland); OSI Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:OSIP); Talecris Biotherapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:TLCR); Vifor Pharma Ltd. (Glattbrugg, Switzerland); and Xoma Ltd. (NASDAQ:XOMA). Alexion, Cubist, OSI and Xoma are also members of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO). ...
