Dendreon, Vertex announce new hires

Cancer company Dendreon Corp. (NASDAQ:DNDN) and Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:VRTX) announced new management additions on Thursday. Dendreon hired Hans Bishop as COO, effective Jan. 4. Bishop was previously president of the specialty medicine business and EVP of the Bayer HealthCare LLC unit of Bayer AG (Xetra:BAY). Dendreon was off $0.46 to $25.65 on Thursday. ...
