CRGN researchers and colleagues published in Nature the use of a protein array and a separate high throughput library screening approach to conduct two large-scale two-hybrid screens for interacting proteins within the genome of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. They identified 957 potential interactions involving 1,004 yeast proteins. The researchers suggested that the approach can identify a biological context for previously unclassified proteins, interactions between proteins with related function, and interactions that link biological functions together into cellular processes. ...
